What Is the Impact Report?

Quick Answer

The Impact Report is an admin dashboard in Pursuit that shows how your team is using the platform and what pipeline that use is generating. It has three tabs: Activation (onboarding milestones per rep), Usage (day-to-day engagement per rep), and Pipeline (opportunity value Pursuit sourced, influenced, and surfaced). Open it at Settings → Impact Report.

What This Is

Adoption problems surface in pipeline months after they start. The Impact Report puts rep-level activity and revenue attribution on the same page, so you can see that a rep stopped working signals in March and connect it to the gap in their Q2 pipeline. It is admin-facing, live, and can send your team an optional monthly summary.

What the Impact Report Tracks

Activation

Three milestones per rep: registered on the platform, enrolled in Signal digest emails, and installed and actively using the Chrome extension. A rep missing a milestone is not getting full value from Pursuit. Signals are landing on accounts they never see.

Usage

Day-to-day engagement across signals worked, Research runs, data exports, Chat activity, and extension lookups. The Team Activity table is sortable and searchable, with per-rep last active date, signal interactions, Research activity, digest engagement, extension lookups, and searches. [VERIFY: is Team Activity its own tab or a table on the Usage tab?]

Pipeline

Three totals across the range you select (1 week, 1 month, 1 quarter, or a custom range):

  • Sourced Opportunities: opportunities Pursuit surfaced before they existed in your CRM

  • Influenced Opportunities: opportunities Pursuit reached after they were created

  • Surfaced Opportunities: estimated value across accounts that have signals but no opportunity yet

Below the totals, an account-level table lists each opportunity with amount, stage, created date, close date, who engaged it, and a link back to the CRM record.

Note: The Pipeline tab applies the Default Impact Report Filters your Admin configures. If no synced CRM fields are selected, the CRM Filters button does not appear on the tab at all. See How to Set Up Default Impact Report Filters for Pipeline Attribution.

What It Doesn't Do

The Impact Report is not a forecasting tool. Pipeline values reflect your CRM as of the last CRM sync, not real time. Filters are company-wide, so it does not give each rep a personalized attribution view.

Next Step

Configure your Default Impact Report Filters so Pipeline counts only your Pursuit-sourced opportunities, then work through How to Drive Team Adoption with the Impact Report.
