How to update your Radar territory and Products with Pursuit Agent

When to Use This

Use this when your Radar Inbox is missing a state you cover or a Product you sell, and you want to fix it in conversation rather than in Radar settings.

Before You Start

  • Pursuit is connected to your AI assistant. See Using Pursuit with AI Assistants (MCP Integration)

  • Your Radar profile controls two things: your Territory and the Products Radar monitors. To change which titles your contact lists return, see [How to update your Personas and Authority Levels with Pursuit Agent]

Steps

  1. Review what you have today: "Show me my Radar profile." Pursuit Agent returns your current Territory, the Products Radar monitors, and your schedule and email notification settings.

  2. Change your territory: "Update my Radar territory to Michigan and Ohio counties." A territory update replaces your current territory rather than adding to it, so name every state you want covered.

  3. Change the Products Radar monitors: "Add our permitting Product to what Radar monitors." Name the Products you want to keep if you are replacing the list.

  4. Set up Radar from scratch if you have not yet: "Set up Radar for Michigan counties with recurring updates and email notifications." First-time setup asks before it turns on recurring updates and emails.

  5. Confirm the change. Pursuit Agent shows what it will apply and waits for your approval before it updates your Radar profile.

What Success Looks Like

Your Radar Inbox surfaces Signals against the new Territory and Products on the next refresh, and the change is visible in your Radar profile in Pursuit.

Common Issues

Problem: Your Radar profile is not surfacing the right kind of Signal, even though the territory and Products are correct. Fix: The Signal criteria live in the Product profile, not the Radar profile. See How to Tune Signals for a Product Profile.

Problem: States you had before disappeared after a territory update. Fix: A territory update replaces the whole territory. Ask again and name every state you cover.

Problem: Email notification settings changed unexpectedly. Fix: They should not. Updating your Radar profile through Pursuit Agent leaves existing notification preferences unchanged, and first-time setup asks before enabling anything new.
