Getting Started: Contact Enrichment

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Enrich your contacts with Pursuit data

Using Pursuit's Data Enrichment tool, Pursuit can enrich your existing accounts by matching your data to Pursuit's database. The enriched data will include a unique Pursuit ID and a Confidence Score for each matched contact, along with additional data fields (see 📄 Contact Fields Reference for the full list.)

Once processed, the enriched dataset will be delivered via email and made available to use in the Pursuit app (allowing you to filter Pursuit records), and import the data into your CRM.

Contact Enrichment syncs Pursuit's real-time public sector contact data directly into your CRM during implementation. This helps to ensure your sellers aren't wasting time on outdated contact information.

When to use this tool for Contact Enrichment

Contact Enrichment should be performed as part of your Pursuit implementation, ideally after you have enriched your existing account information by matching it with the data in Pursuit's database.

The Data Enrichment tool only accepts CSV files and requires certain mandatory columns, along with a few optional ones:

  • First Name: The contact's first name.

  • Last Name: The contact's last name.

      • Last Name: Map to your last name column.

      • Entity Name: Map to your entity name column.

  4. Start the data enrichment process. Pursuit will now match your records and append Pursuit's data (including the Pursuit ID and Confidence Score for each contact).

  5. Review and download results: The enriched dataset will be sent via email once processed. It will include your original data plus the new Pursuit data (notably a Pursuit ID and a Confidence Score for each matched contact.)
