Quickstart Guide: Integrating Your CRM to Pursuit

This article outlines the high-level steps to connecting your CRM to Pursuit. Use this as a guide to follow, and dive deeper into the linked resources.

🏁 Step 1: Create the required fields and connect your CRM

If using SFDC, you can also connect Pursuit to your sandbox environment for testing and validation first. Simply click on the Sandbox button on the Integrations page, and follow the same linked steps.

🔲 Step 2: Add any CRM fields to serve as filters for your team as they work in Pursuit

  1. On the Accounts Mapping page, add fields from the following objects:

    1. account (e.g. Account Owner, Account Type, etc.)

    2. opportunity / deal (e.g. opportunity close date)

    3. custom object

  2. On the Contact Mapping page, add fields from the contact object in your CRM

🔲 Step 3: Ensure you set up the automated update sync cadence

🔲 Step 4: Match accounts between your CRM and Pursuit

  1. Click on the purple Initiate Mapping button

  2. Review the matching results and adjust as necessary: 📄 Account matching and account enrichment

  3. Navigate to Intel (on the purple navigation bar) and click on the CRM sync filters to also review the synced records

🔲 Step 5: Match contacts between your CRM and Pursuit

  2. Navigate to Intel (on the purple navigation bar) and click on the CRM sync filters to also review the synced records

Your CRM is now fully set up and integrated with Pursuit 🥳
